This is a gift I made for my niece (Julie). It has been very hot and humid where she lives in Philadelphia so I hope this cooling fan will provide her with some relief from the heat. I hope she enjoys it.

It is made from extra window blind slat treatments that I was hanging up for my sis-in-law and I didn't want to waste them... so somehow this is what manifested into the evening.

Materials:

• Synthetic blind slats
• Gift wrapping ribbon 1/2" wide, Gold
• Set screw and kitchen cabinet doorknob (for a handle at the bottom of the fan)
• Calligraphy provided by Shifu Abbot Jian Hu and written by Damon
• The inscription reads: "This Mind This Buddha"
